Position 1: Full Stack PHP Web Developer

Job Description

Fundingportal.com is searching for a Full Stack Web Developer to join its team. Think Expedia—but for funding!

You will help manage the company’s domains, website, databases and, security, as well as develop new Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. With a background in IT and entrepreneurial DNA, you will work closely with the CEO, COO, and the company’s Senior Full Stack Web Developer.

  • Work Hours. 9-5.
  • Workplace. Downtown Toronto just steps from the GO and Union Station.
  • Reports to. Senior Developer/ CTO.
  • Number of expected interviews. Qualifying phone interview with COO, and in-person interview with CEO.
  • Ideal timing for hire. Immediate.
  • Salary. $65,000+/ year.

 Candidate Profile

  • University graduate (CS, IT, or CIS preferred)
  • 2 years of Canadian work experience as a developer
  • Time management skills; Respect for deadlines
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently is important
  • Able to work full-time in our downtown Toronto office

Position 2: Account Executive 

Job Description

Build channels and lead sales of our SaaS solution into enterprise markets. A market-facing closer, you will draw on proven skills leveraging social media, your networks, market research, boardroom sales, software demos, and pitch skills.

  • Work Hours. 9-5.
  • Workplace. Downtown Toronto, just steps from the GO and Union Station.
  • Reports to. CEO.
  • Number of expected interviews. Qualifying phone interview with COO, and in-person interview with CEO.
  • Ideal timing for hire. Immediate.
  • Compensation. $85,000 plus commission.

 Candidate Profile

  • University graduate e.g. Business, Technology, or Sales Management
  • 3-10 years of account executive/ business development experience in enterprise markets
  • Previous employment in software/ SaaS/ data firm, consulting, SR&ED or related company
  • Experience selling into large-scale manufacturers, and related innovation-oriented sectors
  • Strong communications, presentation and writing skills
  • Entrepreneurial, well organized, project manager, leverage online tools to track and close sales
  • Able to work full time in our downtown Toronto office

Position 3: Digital Channel | Business and Technical Writer

Job Description

Here’s your opportunity to apply your business writing skills to deliver commercial outcomes. You will write applications for large-scale business incentives, write bid proposals in response to RFPs, and for enterprise markets. With a background in business and technical writing related to procurement, grants and incentives, data analytics, or journalism, and comfort deploying today’s digital tools, you will deliver reports, proposals, applications, news alerts, and related communications products for advanced manufacturing and other enterprise markets.

  • Work Hours. 9-5.
  • Workplace. Downtown Toronto just steps from the GO and Union Station.
  • Reports to. CEO and COO.
  • Number of expected interviews. Qualifying phone interview with COO, and in-person interview with CEO.
