$18 Million Investment in Urban Climate Centre in Halifax

On July 4, 2019, the Government of Canada announced $18 Million through FCM to establish an urban climate centre in Halifax with EfficiencyOne and Low Carbon Cities Canada. 

“This $18-million investment will help communities throughout the Halifax area reach their full emissions-cutting potential. We already see our cities leading the way on low-carbon innovation, and this investment will unlock so much potential to go further—to build cost-saving energy solutions that build better lives for Canadians” –  FCM President Bill Karsten.
