Climate Action Fund Opens its 2019-20 Intake

The Government of Canada has announced a new intake period for the Climate Action Fund for 2019-20.

Quick Facts.

  • The new intake will provide up to $3M to support projects delivered by nonprofits and non-government organizations, SMEs, students, youth, Indigenous Peoples and organizations, research, and academic and educational institutions.
  • It will support projects that raise awareness about climate change and clean growth and encourage Canadians to take action.
  • Recipients can receive up to $250k from the Climate Action Fund, except for for-profit entities, which can receive up to $200k in funding.
  • The deadline to apply is May 13.
